Down on its luck radio show turns to crank calling UFC pressers

There were some real wackos from The Star-Ledger, USA Today and Honolulu Advertiser on the UFC 101 teleconference. One guy asked B.J. Penn about his career in gay porn. The USA Today writer said he was going to kick Penn’s [expletive]. And the dude from Honolulu opened by asking who’s more popular in Hawaii: Penn or Phillies outfielder Shane Victorino? Wouldn’t he know if he worked in Hawaii? Wacked, right?

Not really, it was two crank callers who combined to get onto the call on three separate occasions. The same crankers also made an appearance on the Affliction call last week when he asked about Josh Barnett injecting steroids into his junk.

It wasn’t really funny, kind of pathetic. But we’ll give the show a pop. The crank caller was from the The Kidd Chris Show, which unfortunately after a long run on several radio stations, most recently WYSP in Philadelphia, has been relegated to the Internet since May of 2008. Take a listen and see if the show is worth a listen each day at Kiddshow.com.

As a fellow radio guy, with all of our jobs day-to-day, here’s a free pop on Yahoo! Good luck Kidd.
