Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal will make his first step outside Japan’s Sengoku organization when he takes on veteran Don Frye in the main event of M-1 Breakthrough on August 28 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles.
Frye (20-7-1), a two-time UFC tournament champion, is coming off a win over former national judo champ Rich Moss in May at "Shark Fight 4" in Lubbock, Texas. Frye took Moss’ back from avoiding a hip toss and finished with a rear naked choke at the official time of 2:12 of the opening round.
