Break Point Light Weight Deluxe BJJ Gi Review
The deluxe lightweight Break Point Gi certainly has a unique style and most BJJ students can tell a Break Point gi from any other gi right away. Break Point has exploded onto the Jiu Jitsu world to become one of the top sellers of gi’s. With the flashy logo and patches you will certainly attract the eyes around you when you where this gi to class or a tournament.
However, with the flash and style comes a pretty high price (gave it 3 stars) tag. I saw this gi range on several websites anywhere from $140 to $200 so be careful where you buy this gi from! However, as I will talk about later you get an extra pair of pants with this uniform.
One feature I can say I was impressed with was the thickness and sturdiness of the fabric even though they sell this as a lightweight gi. It also provides plenty of flexibility in just about ever place you need it. It started out a little tight around the crotch but after a while it loosened up.

This certainly increases the value (gave it 4.5 stars) you receive if you buy this gi. The first pair is a heavy weight fabric which is the same kind of fabric as the jacket. This pair is fantastic for training in. The second pair are made with a lightweight fabric which you can use for a tournament. This is ideal in that you will have a pair of fresh white gi pants when you go to a tournament. I really love this idea and hope a lot of the other gi manufacturers start following suit.
I was able to use this gi for several training session and would recommend this gi to anyone who had the money to buy it. It is an extremely versatile gi and will pass any regulations and rules for any tournament you might possibly enter.
