Focus mitts are an essential tool in MMA training to develop good hands as a fighter.  The stand up game is critical to becoming a better fighter and these mitts will certainly help you to become a better striker.  These Bad Boy focus mitts are made with premium grade synthetic leather (whatever that means) and has extra cushion to keep the trainers shoulder and hand safe from injury.  These mitts are also designed to have a smaller striking surface in order to build the skills of the fighter when it comes to timing, tracking, and speed.

The padding on these focus mitts is a little on the light side quite the opposite from the previous review of the Muay Thai pads, but there is plenty to take on some of the hardest hitters.  The curve of these mitts also allow for easy absorption of the power to lessen any stringing and power from the heavyweight fighters.

 Price Range

The prices I found with several website was between $35 to $65 so be sure you get these at the right place if you decide these are for you!  With the price so low our expectations of these mitts was that high.  However, they are certainly in the mid range when it comes to quality.  There are a lot of focus mitts out there from places like Combat Sport, Title MMA, and The MMA Zone that are much higher quality but they are in the range of $80 to $150.  So, for the price these are a pretty good value.

Small Striking Size

These mitts certainly have a smaller striking size then most mitts.  They are perfect for training kids in striking.  The small striking area also is perfect to develop accuracy and hand eye coordination.  They also have a very nice natural curve to them that allows you to cup the  striking and lessens the stinging from hard kicks and punches.
