UFC Undisputed 2009 is set to hit stores in the United States next Tuesday, May 19th. Undisputed will be available on both XBOX 360 and PlayStation 3. Undisputed is the first UFC video game to come out since 2004’s UFC: Sudden Impact.

Undisputed is being touted as one of the most realistic fight games ever created, which has MMA fans and MMA fighters around the United States eagerly awaiting it’s release. Mixed martial arts has always been difficult to duplicate into a video game due to the diverse nature of the sport. Because the fight styles involves an array of techniques and fighters can be found standing up, in the air, and on the ground, developers have always had a tough time with and largely stayed away from taking on the challenge, which adds to the hype surrounding the release of UFC 2009: Undisputed.
